Referral Terms and Conditions
Effective: June 18, 2026
These Referral Program Terms and Conditions (“Referral Terms”) apply to Stowe Financial Corp.'s ("Stowe") referral program.
They are additional terms that apply together with Stowe’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. By participating in the referral program, you agree to these Referral Terms.
1. How the Referral Program Works
Eligible Stowe members can earn a discounted renewal by inviting new users to join Stowe.
To earn the discounted renewal, an existing Stowe member must successfully refer three new members who each purchase and complete payment for a qualifying annual Stowe membership.
Once Stowe confirms three qualifying referrals, the existing member will be eligible to renew their Stowe membership for the following year for $0.99.
2. Eligibility
To participate as a referring member, you must have an active Stowe account in good standing.
A referred member must be new to Stowe and must not have previously created a Stowe account, started a Stowe trial, or purchased a Stowe membership.
Stowe may determine, in its reasonable discretion, whether a member, referral, purchase, or renewal credit is eligible.
3. Qualifying Referrals
A referral will only count toward a renewal credit if all of the following conditions are met:
the referred member is new to Stowe;
the referred member creates a Stowe account;
the referred member purchases a qualifying annual Stowe membership;
the referred member successfully completes payment for that annual membership;
the payment is not refunded, reversed, disputed, charged back, cancelled, or otherwise invalidated; and
the referred member indicates to Stowe which existing member referred them.
Monthly memberships, free trials, discounted memberships, complimentary memberships, promotional memberships, and any other memberships not expressly identified by Stowe as qualifying annual memberships do not count unless Stowe says otherwise.
4. Referral Attribution
To receive referral credit, the referred member must indicate to Stowe which existing member referred them.
Stowe cannot guarantee that every referred member will successfully identify their referring member. If a referred member does not identify the referring member, identifies the wrong person, provides incomplete information, or otherwise fails to complete the referral attribution process, Stowe may be unable to apply referral credit.
Referral credits are not applied retroactively unless Stowe decides otherwise in its sole discretion.
5. Discounted Renewal
The discounted renewal allows the referring member to renew their Stowe membership for the following year for $0.99.
The discounted renewal may only be applied to the referring member’s next eligible annual Stowe membership renewal. It is not cash, cannot be redeemed for cash, cannot be transferred, cannot be sold, and cannot be used for any purpose other than a Stowe membership renewal.
The discounted renewal has no value outside of Stowe.
6. Limit of One Discounted Renewal
Each existing Stowe member may earn a maximum of one discounted renewal through the referral program.
Existing members may continue referring new users after earning one discounted renewal, but no additional discounted renewals, credits, payouts, or other rewards will be earned unless Stowe expressly states otherwise.
7. Fraud, Abuse, and Ineligible Activity
Stowe may withhold, deny, reverse, or cancel a renewal credit if we believe, in our reasonable discretion, that there has been fraud, abuse, gaming of the program, misleading conduct, duplicate accounts, self-referrals, suspicious payment activity, excessive refunds or chargebacks, or any other conduct that violates these Referral Terms or Stowe’s Terms of Use.
Stowe’s decisions regarding referral eligibility, attribution, fraud, abuse, and renewal credits are final.
8. Changes to the Program
Stowe may modify, suspend, or end the referral program at any time, subject to applicable law.
Stowe may also change the eligibility requirements, qualifying membership types, renewal credit value, referral process, or other program details at any time.
Continued participation in the referral program after any changes means you accept the updated Referral Terms.
9. Relationship to Stowe Terms
These Referral Terms are part of, and are incorporated into, Stowe’s Terms of Use. All disclaimers, limitations of liability, account rules, payment terms, and other applicable terms in Stowe’s Terms of Use apply to the referral program.
